National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Title says it all really, it’s an excellent upgrade. I do however wonder about these others users who are clearly not actually looking in their purchase libraries otherwise they’d see what they have has indeed been upgraded to 4K Dolby Vision, in fact the previous listing has been playing back in 4K Dolby Vision since the 19th October.

I’m not sure what people are complaining about. Yes the movie has been re-listed, but the version I purchased around 3 years ago is still very much in my library and has been upgraded to 4K HDR free of charge. The same can be said for the Polar Express which has also been re-listed this year.

First time this has happend to me, I was sure I bought this movie went to watch it and it wasn't there than realised it had been took off my library I was happy to watch the HD version but now I can't and have to purchase the movie again, complete joke, just going to stop buying movies unless they are 4k already.

I bought this a couple of years ago & it shows as 4K now. Anyway, classic Christmas film. Rewatch every year. Love it

It’s nearly Christmas, I’m sat with my family. My dad said “Let’s watch Christmas Vacation”. Next thing I know it’s not in my library and I’m having to re-buy the 4k version. You’ve just lost me as a customer Apple. Google Chromecast here I come. Nobody was complaining on the Google Play Store.

So sick and tired of seeing endless 1 star reviews moaning about not getting a free 4K upgrade. Yes Apple said if a film in HD gets a 4K makeover and you bought the previous version then you get the upgrade free. They have stood by this and I’ve had 100’s of free 4K upgrades on films I’ve bought. What Apple can’t police is when a studio decides to remove a film from the Apple Store then re list it. That’s not apples fault and honestly I don’t blame the studios for doing this. Does a shop allow you take back a blu ray film and swap if for a 4K version free, no! The time and money spend on polishing a film up for 4K HDR why should a studio not get some extra money for that? Plus most people moaning probably only paid about £5 for the HD version so having to shell out another £5-10 if you must have the 4K version is hardly breaking the bank. A 4K blu ray costs around £30 so your still saving a lot. Quit whinging you entitled moaners.

Yet again Apple’s promise of upgrading HD owners to 4K when a 4K version is available is a complete lie. I have zero trust in Apple at this point
