Rise & Shine - The Nyjah Huston Video

This is the best street video ever! , After watching this I think that nyjah is definitely the best street skater in the world, He's doing the biggest and sickest handrail tricks, some banging lines, some nasty slams and a mega finale!!! This is a must see part!

One of, if not the best skate part I've ever seen. Mainly ridiculous handrail stuff but it has everything really: huge gaps, stair sets, switch stuff, technical tricks, lines, even a few nasty slams! Well worth the minuscule price tag.

Just watched Nyjah Huston's 'Rise and Shine' I was disappointed. I have no doubt of his impressive abilities on that plank of wood but for the most part the content was of the same tricks I have seen in so many skate parts just down 'bigger' things. The main exception being the bs bigspin hurricane, very nice. The part seemed lacking of personality, variety and innovation. It didn't provide an insight to who Nyjah is and why he loves to skate, which made the product dull and generic. I was hoping for something something fantastic after the releases of Paul Rodriguez's 'Me, Myself and I' and Torey Pudwill's 'Big Bang' but That wasn't the case. For some reason I didn't get the same reaction of excitement and disbelief. My eyes were not glued to the screen throughout and tricks blurred together making the part less memorable. This review is not a judge of Nyjah's skill as it is plainly obvious that he has dedicated his life to his craft but I worry that his image is focused around his tricks rather then himself and his personal interpretation of his art. If this was the goal of the video well done but otherwise the video could of been better, much better. Skateboarding is evolving every single day through individuals pushing the limits of what is possible, this video did just that but it didn't feel evolutionary or progressive.

I made an iTunes account just to buy this video, I was not at all disappointed. There are so many insane tricks you cannot even be bothered to pull amazed facial expressions off because your face is hurting. Even if I could watch an average quality version of this video for free, I'de still buy this just to be able to have the high detailed version.
