Seeing as this cost the same as a proper film I was expecting a little more than a very low budget cartoon. I should clearly have read up on it. I would not recommend this to anybody who has read the comic or is older than 11.

Bought this with no real expectations of it shining, but was the right length for an upcoming flight. Actually, it is really quite good. One of the few animated films that truly captures the dark knight. Looking forward to more like it in future

fantastic adaptation of frank millers graphic novel, would love to see dark night returns made into a animated film especially if it was done as good as this, sticking to the original graphic novel and not changing anything. absolute fantastic film and if your a bats fan i highly recommend this film.

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Very poor production quality entirely lacking in vision, and completely incapable of capturing the mood and tone of the comic. As for narrative adaptation, the story is not filmic enough and plays like a mediocre "middle of the season" cartoon episode. Not even worth renting.

This is by far the best animated Batman. Lets just hope they go on the make more with the same team. I suspect they will. Of particular note is the voice acting of the Bruce Wayne/Batman character. He sounds depressed and war weary from the of. Truly inspired. Really fantastic. One for the fans ...

First off I really enjoyed this, I actually downloaded it at soon as it was available. I think this is the first time that a Batman animated film has really made me feel for the characters, also whilst watching this I thought of Batman Begins, look foward to even more graphic novel storys Brought to screen. Bring on the Batman.
