Description

Best buddies Rick and Fred (Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis) have both been married for a long time. They love their wives, but, like some guys, just can't help checking out every other woman who crosses their paths. Fed up with this habitual rubber-necking, their wives (Jenna Fischer and Christina Applegate) take a bold approach to revitalize their marriages by granting their husbands a "hall pass": one week of freedom to do whatever they want, no questions asked. Seven days to see exactly what it is out there they think they're missing...or stop looking once and for all. At first, it sounds like a dream come true for Rick and Fred. But they quickly discover that their expectations of the single life-and themselves-are completely and hilariously out of sync with reality.

I wanted to like this but, well, the writing just isn’t there. Sad but true. Weed might help, but I kind of doubt it. Die-hards only I’m afraid.

I watched this during an 11hr flight, it was just what I needed. Fun, not a deep/hard to follow plot and very entertaining. OK, so it won’t win any Oscars or win an award for best screenplay, but I really enjoyed it. That said, I’d love to buy it, but at £7.99 here, looks like I’ll be waiting until they reduce it a bit.

Just finished watching this and although it was really funny it did seem a little long winded and I thought the guys could have got up to more during their weeks hall pass. Which is mostly taken up eating and drinking with only a few chances taken to talk to girls which I think is a massive shame. Overall a good movie worth renting for a few cheap laughs but not something I'd watch again.

You really must give this film a chance! I watched this film with low expectations simply because of the bad reviews on here, but I was in for a nice surprise. Owen Wilson delivers a great performance once again. Give it a go.

This film is terrible. I can't decide if the script, acting or cast was the worst bit it was just plain terrible from start to finish. Very few laughs and really, really bad acting from two incredibly unlikeable leading men it just gets very annoying very quick. The plot (if you can call it that?) is massively predictable and just plain rubbish. What's worse is that the funniest part comes in the closing credits from Stephen merchant who is really under used in this film and at times has a look of "what the hell am I doing?" on his face. Oh, and for all you blokes looking for boobs! I'll save you the pain of watching the whole film. The last 30 mins should do you, but really I wouldn't bother! Trust me, anyone who says otherwise is telling porkies, this is pants, married or not (I am) it's just awful, why do they keep churning this Dross out? Give the budget to charity or something and spare us all this dull, lifeless crap! Have a nice day.

One of the funniest films I have ever seen. If you don't find it funny there is something wrong ( or maybe right ) with your sense of humour.
