  • Touching performance by great Dreyfuss!

    This is also a film I had seen in the 80s, and as a child/ teenager, it had marked me profoundly. I was pleasantly surprised (chocked) to find it (at last) in iTunes! Euthanasia is a subject that has been covered since then, but Richard Dreyfuss's acting brings authenticity, humour and aching sadness all together. John Cassavetes is charming, but only plays (an important) support role. The film has aged a little, but the feelings drawned out of spectators remain contemporary. It is a (re)current debate! It was thanks to this movie that I discovered R Dreyfuss, and thereafter held him in utter respect! Thank you itunes for making this wonderful film available!
