In 1776 a ragtag group of upstart British colonists embarked on a bold experiment in democracy that began in violence and bloodshed when they started a Revolution. Academy Award winner Al Pacino stars as Scottish immigrant Tom Dobb forced to choose sides when his son--who has fallen in love with a beautiful member of the minority, revolutionary faction fighting the British--is taken prisoner.
