Description

Welcome to the Cirque Du Freak, a traveling sideshow filled with magical creatures, misunderstood freaks, and the mysterious vampire, Larten Crepsley (John C. Reilly). Drawn to the dark, unpredictable world of the Cirque, 16-year-old Darren (Chris Massoglia) decides to trade in his ordinary life for a chance to become an immortal vampire. As Darren explores his newfound powers and faces unexpected enemies, he’ll find that his existence as a member of the undead is filled with more challenges, suspense and fun than he ever thought possible. Based on the best-selling book series and co-starring Salma Hayek, Ken Watanabe, and Willem Dafoe, it’s a fast-paced, suspenseful journey critics call, "Imaginative!" (Peter Hall, Cinematical.com)

Love this movie! Really good but it leaves you on a cliff hanger at the end which is annoying because there isn't a number 2 ._. but over all really cool movie :)

Ok so first after watching this film I thought: ok we're the heck has Sam ad Debbie gone? Also I wondered why relaugh or whatever he's called had dark skin not purple with red hair. It also shows a little persons face which never happened, weird. I know crepsley died in the books but I don't know if he did in the film cause I think I fell asleep at that point o.O. Why does Steve get bitten at school not home, missing key points their. It also said in the book thatdarren had to be bribed to be a vampire so he could save Steve but apparently not in the film it's just a full on 'hi their we just met wanna be a vampire?'...... Ok lecture over but yeah the films OK

I really enjoyed this film, I thought it was great. Saying that I hadn't read the books which I now have done and I can say I still really like the film however I can now understand what people mean when they say the have crammed to much into one film. If you haven't read the books it won't make a difference to watch the film because with out reading them you won't be able to see it

Absolutely love the books when I was younger. they seem to have merged all 12 books in to 1 film. They would have been better putting it as 4 films like there our 4 sections of the the book collection. Anyway it's an okay film they have just crammed to much in. What happened to going from a human girlfriend to a monkey girlfriend. Sam grest was missed out and he had an important part in the books.

This is a pure, warped, heresy to the original Cirque du Freak epic saga. The books are miles ahead of their time and yes, admittedly, the vampire effects are decent, but otherwise this is a scam. Expand your brain cells and read the books.
