Description

Ten years ago in the town of Harmony, an inexperienced coal miner caused an accident in the tunnels that trapped and killed five men and sent the only survivor, Harry Warden, into a permanent coma. But Harry Warden wanted revenge. Exactly one year later, on Valentine's Day, he woke up...and brutally murdered twenty-two people with a pickaxe before being killed. Now, after years of peace, something from Harmony's dark past has returned. Wearing a miner's mask and armed with a pickaxe, an unstoppable killer is on the loose.

I don't know what else to say except this is one of the worst films I have ever seen. The acting is so bad that it is amusing and it's just very boring.

All in the title, there in not acting and story is terrible. The movie is very gory (which some may enjoy a lot) but story and actors are both absolute zeros. I am surprised many liked it, for me was really disappointing (I started to play PSP in the middle, buch better!). G.

My Bloody Valentine is a really good horror film, staring Jensen Ackles as Tom Hanniger who lives in a mining town. Eleven years ago, a cave-in in the mine trapped six workers for six weeks. By the time rescuers got to them five of the miners had been killed with a pickaxe, with one of the miners, Harry Warden being barely alive and in a coma. Tom had been blamed for the disaster after he had not vented the methane line causing the cave-in. Nearly a year later on Valentines day, Harry Warden wakes from his coma killing everyone in the Hospital. The mine had been abandoned but was being used for a party by the local teenagers including Tom Hanniger. But in the abandoned mines await Harry Warden who crashes the party leaving a few victims. A brilliant film with get killing scenes, but the 3D scenes look a bit awkward without the 3D effect. If you have bought the 3D film then it is amazing. And the ipod doesn't feature a 3D effect so you cannot get it on the ipod. This version is just the 2D version. The ending of the film has a brilliant twist that i didn't see coming and i am a huge horror fan. The casting and the acting is amazing and the film as a whole is great. If you like films similar to Identity, Friday the 13th and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, you will probably like this.
  • This Film was made to be seen in 3D...

Basically.... Without the 3D element this film is 2D film filled with 3D "gimmiks".... Such as stuff being thrown at the screen, which in 2D does not have the same effect whatsoever....However it's still a very good to watch, it's filled with gore, excellent acting and also keeps you on the edge of your seat. I recommend you watch the 3D version of the film, and see it the way it was intended to be seen.
  • predictable stalk and slash

About as frightening as the nannas who knit Shreddies. No real thrills here, unless you're a gore fan. Much too glossy to be scary. Two stars for good looking actors.
