Yellowbeard

If you are looking for a stunning piece of cinema, then this film is best avoided. However, if you are looking for a film that has a very basic storyline, and doesn't take itself too seriously, then this is the film for you. The basic storyline is about a pirate (aptly named Yellowbeard) who escapes from prison and goes after his treasure, followed by his enemies. Ok, so this is essentially the same as a lot of other pirate films, but then this could be a parody of the genre. It is definately a good way to pass 1 1/2 hours.

Amazngly funny if you like this kind of thing, and if you don't like Python and that school of humour you won't like it. Brilliant cameos and script, rough filming and acting but overall it is my favourte Python extra. Don't moan, don't compare, enjoy!

Take it in the way it was intended and forgive the rough edges for this is brilliant and lightens the heart to watch!

I think this film is fantastic, I still chuckle when I think of certain lines from it. It's a very random film, and when I try to compare it to any other comedy film, none come to mind. Graham Chapman is brilliant as yellowbeard, the characters are very colourful and the jokes come every few seconds, definitely one for comedy fans.

This movie is probably meant to parody pirate movies before The Pirates of the Caribbean, watch it if you must.
