A small party set out to find a marooned World War I Naval hero lost on a tropical island north of the ice barrier in the arctic. They encounter prehistoric monsters, spouting volcanoes and menacing cavemen. Based on a novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs.

I remember going to see this at the pictures in 1977 with my grandfather. I was 8 and dinosaur movies were the thing. I saw the prequel land that time forgot. Back then they were great and watching them again brings back memories but with modern movies and CGI the old ones really don't stand up to the test of time.
