Description

Scott Turner has 3 days left in the local police department before he moves to a bigger city to get some "real" cases, not just misdemeanors. Then Amos Reed is murdered, and Scott Turner sets himself on the case. The closest thing to a witness in the case is Amos Reed's dog, Hooch, which Scott Turner has to take care of if it's going to avoid being "put to sleep".

One of my all time favs of Tom hanks from childhood is turner and hooch. Hanks shows his comic timing and acting scope. It's a film for the family at the weekend for sure

It's been my favourite film since the age since the age of two. Tom Hanks is fabulous in this, and the dog who plays Hooch is loveable throughout. A great watch.

To be honest, this is proof if how overlooked as an actor Mr Tom Hanks was throughout the 80's. Hanks, once again, manages to give a most impressing performance as a simple and funny, yet slightly cynical Scott Turner. This truly is 'classic Hanks' as it shows Tom in his element as a young comedy actor. Turner and Hooch is a family favourite which never fails to impress.
