Brilliant movie , but picture is grainy in places .

This is one of the true masterpieces of 20th Century art: comparable to Picasso in the formalization of the interstices between modernity and humanity. Stallone's performance, whilst on the surface seemingly that of a stereotypical 'tough cop' is actually an incisive treatise on mans enduring quest to discover the myth of selfhood. It's acting that Shakespere, Beckett and Mamet could only dream of. But this is not all (if such genius by itself was not enough) but we have a complimentary titanic performance by Nielson - which truly elevates this film beyond merely mortal comprehension to the stratosphere. She is the fire to Stallone's ice, the Cleopatra to his Antony - in a single bound her daring propels her to acting immortality. No superlatives can possibly capture magnificence of Cobra.

Tension, thrills and excitement, this film has it all. As good as the Rambo films.

classic 80s stallone you cant go wrong

With a first name of Marion who would have thought he was tough? Stallone plays a tough maverick detective on the trail of a serial killer called the night stalker. When he begins to get close to discovering the truth he too becomes a target. Also starring Brigette Neilsen looking as fit as I have ever seen her, this film is guaranteed to entertain.
