Description

Some say that Pathology is a window to God. As doctors, they see the perversion and corruption of the flesh by all means unnatural...by violence...by toxin...by madness...to determine the cause of death. When med school student Ted Gray (Milo Ventimiglia) graduates top of his class he joins one of the nation's most prestigious Pathology programs. With talent and determination Ted is quickly noticed by the program's privileged and elite band of pathology interns who invite him into their crowd. Intrigued by his new friends he begins to uncover secrets he never expected and finds that he has unknowingly become a pawn in their dangerous and secret after-hours game at the morgue of who can commit the perfect undetectable murder. As Ted becomes seduced into their wild extracurricular activities the danger becomes real and he must stay one step ahead of the game before he is the next victim.

Well written and acted, a very much edge-of-your-seat thriller that is mistakenly labelled as a Drama! Lots of gory horror bits too. Reviews by CSI B, and Jordan Hill already give enough on what it is about in their reviews here, so all I will add is that a little extra twist at the end makes this a gem for the price and one I am very glad I got. In a nutshell, a great find and one that will keep you entertained, however that may be...!!

i was made to watch this film, and half of the time i had to hide. It was shocking, i give the film credit to how good the bodies look and it looks very real, but that makes it even more disturbing. Honestly it makes saw look pathetic, this isint even a fun scary film you'd want to watch with friends its just seriously grim and disturbing. I have no idea how this film has got 3 and half stars does not deserve it, clever story line but is just too discusting to watch.

To say that I was somewhat disappointed with this film would be an understatement. Like most films that lack anything to recommend them, the trailer gives the impression of a taught thriller. However, when you finally sit and watch you soon find out that, in fact, the script is poor, casting lamentable and acting akin to something you might expect from over enthusiastic students in the 1st year of a drama course. Initially, the story offers a seeming twist on the old “Medics in a Mortuary” story but soon starts to use all the tired and hackneyed cliches in a setting that seems to have little to do with medicine (think Coma and Flatliners meets Grays Anatomy and you'll know what I mean). Thus, in an effort to ensure that the target audience is kept from thinking about the lack of content, the director throws in plenty of blood, guts and boobs. All in all, one to miss unless you're a masochistic necrophiliac with a need to waste an hour and a half of your life.

A very good horror film with a brilliant plot and a great cast. Milo Ventimiglia plays med student Teddy Grey, who graduated top of his class and joins the nations most prestigious pathology program. He soon becomes noticed by the programs privileged pathology interns who invite him into his crowd. He begins to uncover secrets he never expected and finds he has become a pawn in their dangerous game, of who can commit the perfect undetectable murder. As he becomes seduced into their activities, the danger becomes real and he must stay on step ahead. if you are a fan of the psychological horrors, (with a bit of gore), like Identity or SAW, then you must try this.

It's twisted, it's undeniably explicit and it's full of gore. But the fact that it is all draw together by a fantastic plot, and very convoluted characters, just means that you can't possibly miss a second. I would recommend this film to anyone that enjoys horror, thriller or just plain weird films. I enjoyed it, and I think anyone who can enjoy a film with lots of implicit insights into the human mind will really grasp the potential of this film.
