In this fifth and final installment of the action film franchise, retired kickboxer Matt Reeves vows to avenge the death of his protégé, a promising young fighter murdered by South African millionaire Negaal for refusing to join his underworld kickboxing federation. Negaal sends his enforcer Paul Croft to take out Reeves. But instead, the two adversaries team up, each with a thirst for revenge.
