I cannot compliment this film high enough. It just about has everything: comedy and action not to mention romance. Forget the Steve Coogan and Pierce Brosnan versions--and even the cartoon variation; David Niven is the quintisential Phileas Fogg(the same goes for the wonderful Cantinflas as Paspartout). And what can anyone say about the luminous Shirley MacLaine that hasn't been said already? Nothing except that, for an American, she is an extremely convincing Indian princess. And then there is the 40+ guest stars. In summing up: this film has something for everyone. Long may it be seen and thank you iTunes for making it available--and at such a cheap price, too! John.
