Description

After the release of Jake Blues (John Belushi) from prison, he and brother Elwood (Dan Aykroyd) go to visit the orphanage where they were raised by nuns. They learned that the church stopped its support and will sell the place unless the tax on the property is paid with 11 days. The brothers decide to raise the money by putting their blues band back together and staging a big gig. They may be on a "mission from God" but they're making enemies everywhere they go. Featuring performances by some of blues finest, James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and co-starring John Candy, Carrie Fisher, Henry Gibson and Steve Lawrence.

Anyone who doesn't give this film a five star review has obviously not been out side of the front door. An also has never listened to real music in their life!!!!!!! One of the greatest films to have ever graced our screens!!!!

I grew up watching this film as a child. Me and my dad would watch this almost every Sunday without fail and my childhood would not have been the same without it. Sounds a bit overly dramatic, but I now truly appreciate real music as an adult and it got me into driving, not just to work and back, but the fun part of driving. This movie should be seen by as many people as possible as it is an absolute classic. May it never fade into the ages and kids are left only with Fast and Furious movies for a place to see cars and music in the same place. God bless The Blues Brothers.
