Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker

Nothing to say but amazement and canon to the tv series batman animated series and batman beyond and also it’s the uncut version!

Even though Terry McGinnis isn't as forceful in the role as Bruce Wayne, this film is his best entry in the Batman coda - easily as good as Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. The series that spawned this gave us an insight into the fates of Barbara Gordon, Lucius Fox, Mr. Freeze, Ra's al Ghul, Talia al Ghul and even (briefly) Bane. But this gives us the fate of the Harlequin of Hate and even his own Harley Quinn with Mark Hamill and Arleen Sorkin reprising their iconic roles! This film is also a nice cross-over between The New Batman Adventures and Batman Beyond explaining how Bruce Wayne became even more withdrawn and why Batman and Robin may never team up again, as well as providing The Joker with a James Bond-style weapon to play with. It also draws the series to an epic close before further revelations about the Batman mantle unfurl in Justice League Unlimited.

This really is a great film and there's no need to have seen any of the previous animated versions to enjoy it. The SD picture quality is great too - much better than the TV series - so I wouldn't bother with the HD version unless you're really picky.

I really love this Movie it was great how Terry was saved Dana and I was so SURPRISED when the Joker just appeared and the look on Bruce's face was so funny !!!!!!

I agree with nearly all the other reviews, in that this is a fantastic film. You don't need to have watched the Batman Beyond TV Series to enjoy Return Of The Joker as it's made very accessible to newcomers (although Batman Beyond is also excellent). The main thing i wanted to say in this review is that this itunes version is the uncut version of the film. I spent a long time trying to get hold of this film and ended up buying the brutally edited other version which removes a lot of the darker scenes in the film. I took a risk and bought this version and to my relief it was the originally intended uncut version, which as other reviews say, is pretty dark and mature (which i love) compared to some Batman films., but experlty told. I highly reccomend this for any Batman fan.

i am a big batman fan and was not sure weather or not i would like batman beyond but it is fantastic.this movie is very good addition to the batman story and the fact that the greatest villan of all time is back in this movie makes it fantastic.the joker is as great in this movie as he is in the original seires. A must see

I loved the final confritation great scene i was breathless at the end i really enjoyed the movie!

As the last guy says it's mark hamil as the joker which steals the show! Good animation and a good story line, the flashback by barbara gordon is classic.

Legendary film. great film ... mark hamill's joker is pyscho and chilling in this movie much more darker than batman the animated series and justice league, Bruxe Wayne has retired terry mcguiness has taken the role of batman, Bruce gets an unexpected suprise at his party a man claiming to be the legendary Joker. this plot is superb its even shows what happened to Robin ( Tim Darke) and Why Bruce has to use a cane. This Film is awsome animation is awsome. i personally think Mark Hamill's Joker is Much more stuck to The Comics i prefer him to heath ledger's no offence to heath even though i like him. there is a couple of suprise especially with harley quinn.
