Description

Ryan (Troy Gentile), Wade (Nate Hartley) and Emmit (David Dorfman) attend their first day at high school and they’re pumped…until they meet up with Filkins (Alex Frost), a school bully who comes off like a little Hannibal Lecter. Before they become completely engulfed in Filkins’ reign of terror, they seek out some protection by placing an ad in Soldier of Fortune magazine. Their best response – and the cheapest – comes from Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson), a down-on-his luck soldier of fortune who lives a homeless – he likes to say “home-free” – existence on the beach. He enrolls them in some physical and mental training.

  • Slow start but the last 30 mins is very good

    I did enjoy this but felt it was not on par with many of Owen Wilson's other comedy roles. The slow start is very frustrating and it only really gets going half-way through. The end is good though and made it worth stay through to the end. In summary, don't expect too much but enjoyable anyway.

    If you haven't seen this film yet, then i highly recommend that you do. It is hilarious from start to finish, all the actors do a fine job of keeping the audience laughing, especially Owen Wilson. A highly humourous comedy that you will not stop laughing at. And one of the scenes near the end was the best in the whole film, it involves a samuri sword and a little finger, watch it to find out. One of the best comedies i have seen, i definitely would of paid full price for it.

    I watched this film when it was released and it was amazing, so why has it got such a low rating? ooh that's right, cause some people actually dont like buying films...

    Owen wilson is awesome in ths movie lv the rap-off and the fight at the end. Notmy fav comedy though. Zoolander gets five stars.

    The videos that are on here should be 1080p as well as normal too, then the colours would be a lot more vibrant and Pcoops if you live inside the Uk you can go to Head (Zavvi) and get blu-rays that are brand new for £3.99 or less for newish films as well.
