Description

Two brothers from Miami are in the Mediterranean are enjoying life by scamming money off of rich women. One day, they read about a young woman set to inherit $50 million from her father.     It seems that back in 1986 people who weren't Prince fans didn't understand that this was tongue firmly in cheek. I loved every moment of this film very entertaining, parts laugh out loud funny and an amazing soundtrack. I actually think this is better than purple rain!

    when this film came out in the mid- eighties the critics were ready to pounce. Prince was at the height of his musical hegemony and in need of taking down a peg or two. They completely missed the point, and interpreted this film on the wrong level. Tongue pushed firmly into cheek is where the purple one is at on this one. If this was released now people would get the irony; sadly not the case 20 years ago.
