One of Martins most laughable. From the first opening to the final scene you wonder how he can do this without breaking into fits. This film just makes you cry with laughter and its almost to close to the future in an absurd way. Other reviewers have already identified pointy pointy so all I can say to the price moaners "Into the mud scum queen"

This film presents Steve Martin in his prime. It really is comedy genious and the script + skillful acting make this film a must-see. Well worth the 3.99

Steve Martin at his best, before his agent just said yes to every offer. My favourite - just ahead of "All Of Me". Just a really fun film, watch and enjoy.

    a. this is a rental people seriously stop with the crappy reviews, TO THE POINT this is most definitly the worst movie i have ever seen, i am only giving this 5* as this will then get to the top and be the first that people will see. this film brought together to great commedy actors in un diniably there worst ever role in a film. this was an awful film... i was watching this with a groupe of 6 people and 5 appart from me left in the first hour. this film only sold because i suspect it has the lowest sales and so they put it up for rental and as it has the comedy geniouses of Steve Martin and Kathleen Turner who gave an acceptable performance. but combines with an awful plot, awful effects, awful basicly everything else, i could not bare to watch this it was horrible but i have yet to rate a film withought watching it fully, summary: this film will only be rented because of steve on the cover it was the worst film i have ever seen

Don't let the poor reviews left by customers put you off renting this comedy classic. Itunes has been running a 99p film of the week rental for quite some time now so why people would think you could by it for that price is beyond me. A great film and a nice price!

People really should learn what the '99p film of the week' is. it means 99p to rent, not buy...Stop rating this film with low stars because of the mistake you made by not fully understanding what the deal was.
  • Missed opportunity

Apple - most of the comments here are about the price. Looks like a real opportunity to me. Imagine how many you would sell at 99p and imagine how little piracy there would be at a price like that. Then again, I suppose it isn't Apple who are the culprits here: it's Hollywood and its deluded grasp on the 21st century. Shame.
