I downloaded this because I have a great admiration for this bloke. In years to come he will be remembered not just for his songs but the effort he made to use his fame for some good. i.e. world peace....."all we are saying is 'give peace a chance'". "Happy Xmas war is over" and the Amsterdam Hilton bed-in. There aren't that many pop stars with his talent that try to use their fame to do some good in the world, Saint Bob Geldof also tried but he's another rarity. It was nice that Cynthia and Julian got the chance to say their bit too. I liked the comments to "Philip" (Phil Spector?) in the studio (liberal use of the f word) and the description of Paul when he's singing "How do you sleep" those lyrics would never make the vynyl cut! I know that Paul wouldn't take it too hard either. The interviews from Parky were great and there isn't much footage of Mimi around that I've seen but she gets to say s a few words too. There's loads of his music and lots of newsreel stuff. If you are a Beatles fan or a Lennon fan, this documentary is well worth watching I thought the scenes of John and Yoko together on the bed showing real tenderness towards each other were very moving. I for one thought it was worth £2.49 to watch this without having to troll off to the shops and find a shop stocking the thing. If you are gonna moan about the price find somewhere else to do it!

You can DL it (takes about 20-30 mins), and keep it for 2 days. Plenty of time to watch IMHO, I've used it tons of times and it works very well.
  • if carlsderg did rentals it would be better than this

Let me see if I've got this right...I can rent or buy films from iTunes for more than I can from other stores, where I get to keep it on disc complete with full liner notes and other information. Imagine is a case in point - I can rent or buy it for less elsewhere. With prices like this, Apple have got it completely wrong in terms of attracting people to this market. Thanks, but no thanks.
  • great documentary, but.
