A not so dangerous liaison with an excellent movie

I first saw this film over twenty years ago and I loved it then and I love it now.
A cautionary tale that hooks you from the outset. Well written, beautifully acted, emotionally involving and with great direction.
I have encouraged many friends to watch this with me that otherwise wouldn't have chanced it because of the period setting. Every one of them loved it too!
Oh yes, and the music is also exquisite!
My all time favourite film.

I can recommend this film - it is the only film I have ever wanted to watch over and over again. I find it hugely enjoyable and urge you to see it.
