Description

A reluctant young hero holds the key to the future of mankind in the palm of his hand in this eye-popping, sci-fi adventure. In the year 3028 the Drej, a vicious alien race, has destroyed earth. Fifteen years later a young man named Cale learns he possesses a genetically encoded map to the Titan, a spaceship that holds the secret to the salvation of the human race. With the Drej in hot pursuit, Cale blasts off with the crew of the Valkyrie in an attempt to find the Titan before the Drej destroy it - and with it, mankind's last chance for a home of their own. Featuring an all-star voice cast that includes Matt Damon and Drew Barrymore and an edgy, out of this world soundtrack, Titan A.E. is an intergalactic thrill ride for a new generation.

  • And the Sound Goes too... STEREO?

While this film has transfered reasonably well to digital it is some what let down by the poor sound transfer. The DVD release gave you 5.1 sur-round here we're treated to STEREO!? It may not be the greates storyline or animation but it used to pack a above average sound stage, especialy during the opening sequence when Earth, sorry spolier, is destroyed. So WHAT HAPPEND to 5.1?

I remember watching this film as a kid and loving every second of it. I'm 18 years old now and nothing has changed. I still love this film and I still watch it all the time. The plot is fantastic and grips you from the start and the voice acting is superb, definately one of Matt Damons best films. Its funny in places and thrilling in others, overall an amazing film

Blimey, Matt Damon, Bill Pullman, Drew Barrymore, John Leguizamo and Nathan Lane! Quite a cast right there to be honest...

Great film, underrated in my opinion when it first came out but it is popular as can be seen by the number of good reviews here. Good set of voice actors in Matt Damon, Bill Pullman and Drew Barrymore as well as a good story make it a fantastic film and a personal favourite of mine and for 6.99 its pretty cheap.

Brilliant film with good voice acting and a better plot. Not to be taken too seriously but some very funny moments. The CGI isn't fantastic but it was released almost 9 years ago so it's forgiven. One of my all time favourite movies!
