    A dark and enigmatic film which I almost turned off before it reached the point of its plot - made tolerable by the stunningly beautiful Charlize Theron. Nice to see the conductor from 'Brassed Off' putting in an appearance! which is another film altogether...

    A fairly old film , not worth buying and to be honest its been on tv anyway so i would only rent if you a fan . Everything about it is ok there is just nothing outstanding about the film.

    I am a great Sci Fi Fan. I must have 3000+ books and goodness knows how many videos. This is a watch once film. As plots go the idea is very good but the film is actually rather boring. the cast simplky fail to capture the imagination and the special effects are nothing special. This would not even make my top one hundred. Do not buy this video. If you must watch it then rent, it is cheaper and youdefinitely won't want to watch it again... It doesn't even have the Ed Wood touch... so bad it is good.

    I liked this movie. The effects are very good and the plot is ok. If you liked the older version you probably won't enjoy this, but for people who haven't seen it, the futuristic aspect will make it likeable.

    I think the plot for this movie is poorly thoughout. It's really not that interesting. It has a great visual style and setting, but the movie is overall pretty poor and boring. Such a shame because because it features some great talents.
