Very average, i was on the point of ringing the Police as i felt like i had been robbed! Good performance by DeNiro, as others have mentioned some laughable irish accents. At one point i thought the Benny Hill music was about to come on, farcical in places, how on earth does this get such good reviews. Can't come anywhere near Heat or Collateral. I watched it over two evenings and was even contemplating giving up on the second half.

A very powerful cast of good actors and a good plot with some very well crafted action sequences, shoot outs and car chases with a continental European feel to the film as opposed to the more predictable US made films. Robert de Niro puts in a regular performance Jean Reno was excellent as usual Jonathan Pryce and Sean Bean play different interesting and credible roles. Worth a watch with a good plot that picks up the pace.

This is the film that re-invented the car chase. The fast paced chase scenes in Paris are spectacular, but still manage to keep a very gritty European feel that is a consistent pleasure throughout this blockbuster. I suspect this work was the inspiration for many scenes in the Bourne trilogy. The cast is a good mix of serious talent, the only disappointment for me being Sean Bean's small role. However I must stress that is only a minor criticism on my part as this film keeps up a heavy and entertaining pace from start to finish, leaving you wanting more. This film is a must have for any action/espionage collection.

Its a good film and all, but i could not see all of it as it cut out a good part of the left and right bit of the screen! (I have a 4th gen nano) I would have thought iTunes would have known about this. So instead of watching this on a long journey (as i planned) I have to watch it on my PC. Not Cool.

I didnt really understand what was going on half the time and thought the acting was pretty poor (except di nero and besson). Also to the fullenglish guy who said that the car chase had no special effects....watch it again, a part of it is clearly fast forwarded to make it look like they're going faster than they are. At one point you can see the woman's hair floating at a 90 degree angle.
  • When 99p is actually 6.99

If you've bought this under the 'film of the week' 99p offering check your invoice to make sure you have actually been charged 0.99p and not the normal £6.99 as I have! I'm sure Apple will sort it out but this is annoying.
