Description

Jo Stockton can only get to Paris to meet with the beatnik founder of "empathicalism" (a idea that implores you to "put yourself into others shoes" in order to 'empathize' with them) if she agrees to model a line of ultra-chic fashions for photographer Dick Avery. Paris provides the backdrop for this blend of Gershwin music and Givenchy fashion.

  • A Lovely Film With Lots Of Heart

This has been described as one of Audrey's fondest films, she loved Astaire since she was young and always dreamt of dancing with him. Here we see Hepburn release the dancer in her, and we see how she loves every minute. "Funny Face" is full of wit, wonderful dancing and even instruction by the wonderful Kay Thompson on "How To Be Lovely". Full of jazzy tunes and brilliant scenes of Paris, this film has no trouble being very lovely indeed.
