Description

Stylish and sexy, Fatal Attraction took audiences to terrifying new heights with its thrilling story of a casual encounter gone terribly awry. This box-office smash was nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director (Adrian Lyne—Indecent Proposal, Flashdance). Michael Douglas plays Dan Gallagher, a New York attorney who has a tryst with seductive Alex Forrest (Glenn Close) while his wife (Anne Archer) is away. Dan later shrugs off the affair as a mistake and considers it over. But Alex won't be ignored. Not now, not tomorrow, not ever…even if it means destroying Dan's family to keep him.

This is stunning in Dolby Vision a real treat for the eyes. A great thriller so many years from the making. One of the best and one of my all time favourites.

Great film and was delighted to see this appear as a 4k version and immediately purchased and watched it. Very disappointing and I cannot believe this is being sold as 4k when there has been no restoration work. It’s full of scratches and artefacts and the picture quality is more like an SD DVD. Incredible to compare it to Disclosure which we then downloaded in HD and is utterly brilliant quality. Very odd.

This is one of the 80s most talked about films. It is tense and the ending was not the intended ending but it works for the suspense and when Dan gets revenge for what happened to his daughters pet rabbit. Amazing performances and even Herman Munster makes a cameo.
