A brilliant race against time, action packed thriller that has a great twist to it and Denzel Washington is his usual brilliant self. If you like action packed films with a twist, this film is for you. It’s a brilliant film that I bought for £3.99 that is in HD with Dolby 5.1 and also has English CC subtitles and AD audio description. Well chuffed!
  • A gripping race-against-time thriller

Nice to see this finally at a reasonable price for the Denzel sale. Tony Scott was too long just put down as a slick ad man who ended up making Hollywood films. Forget it; the man was an artist painting in the realm of the big budget studio movies, and this, one of his many collaborations with Denzel, is a very enjoyable genre pic. It’s a detective movie and it’s a race against time movie, set in New Orleans post Hurricane Katrina. If you don’t enjoy suspending your disbelief you won’t get much out of this, but you’ll be missing a blisteringly fast-paced and ultra-slick thriller thats made by a pure romantic who is also a master of time and space. Gripping fun and rewards repeat viewings.

  • Laughable storyline

Well I bet this doesn't feature at the top of Mr Washington's CV. There are some great CGI moments at the start of the film, and for twenty minutes it looks really promising. Until the scfi element turns up, when this film morphs into chick flick meets disaster movie meets star trek, getting sillier and sillier. More plot holes than the emmenthal in my fridge.
  • Turned it off half way through

It started off boring until it got to the part with the video camera that can see into the past and then it became ridiculous and completely unrealistic. I turned it off at 1hour 8mins so i don't know how it ends and i don't really care. Wouldn't recommend watching this to anyone but i can see that a lot of people liked it so maybe it's just me. 0 out of 5 stars from me.

Excellent thriller, script, cast, deliver on all fronts. The premise of the movie, it's science fiction scenario is well conceived and delivered. Worth a rent at least!!!
