The Flash

A film that is better than its box office return would have you believe. Whilst not being brilliant, the film’s success basically depends on how you feel towards Michael Keaton’s Batman who makes a return here. He’s easily the best thing about the film, although the logic behind having an on-screen Batman in his 60’s who’s been retired for years still being able to do all the things he could as a younger man is a bit baffling.) the special FX are a bit ropey in places with obvious CGI faces being used extensively in the ‘speed force’ scenes but the emotional core of the film about a son trying to save his mother from being murdered and realising the cost of that is executed well.

With all the reviews I put off watching it. I had no expectations going in and I was so surprised how good it was. Fun, thrilling, action packed, funny, just an all around good time.

I wasn’t a fan of this Dc character in the comic anyway but I thought I would give the movie a chance. But I was wrong to because the main actor playing the Flash is so annoying,whiny and just gets on your nerves that you want to punch the screen I was soo glad when the credits rolled n the light came bk on in the cinema.

One word. Terrible.

Really enjoyed this and Michael Keaton was truly amazing. Inevitably this will get measured against the Marvel biggies, and EM’s personal life shenanigans should not come into it but hear it said a lot! Give this a try and be surprised 👍🏻 Rob

What a stunning super hero movie! Incredible visuals and story, blending the DC multiverse. Absolutely thrilling and great to see so many cameos and return of Micheal Keaton as Batman!

I was pleasantly surprised by this - I was expecting a car crash after hearing all the negativity - especially about the CGI. Yes - the CGI on the cameos section could’ve been better, but other than that, it’s fine. Definitely the best DC film since Man of Steel.

They’re not worth it.

Doesn’t deserve the bad reviews, a lot from people who haven’t seen the film. Good story and great to see Michael Keaton back as Batman.
