But this is nothing new. Overall I liked it, but it was an un-needed sequel. A bit if backstory was added, which was interesting but not executed too well, which is a shame. I felt if that had have done it well it could have leant to a series like Saw where each story is individual but ultimately is part of a wider plot, but i don't feel like they pulled it off. The “champion” characters were surprisingly dumb considering they had supposably “won” before, which i didn't understand… How the hell did they win, when they struggle to identify a puzzle…?! Overall, it was a bit of fun. Not bad, but not great.

I kept waiting for them to be in a really hard room.. but they all seemed to get killed off too easily

I personally would say that they should’ve stuck you the first one. The second one is okay story line it gets you into the plot pretty fast. Back to the escape rooms again but for me it’s not a good enough of a plot to have made a second. It even seems the ending of this one is to be able to possibly make a third which at this point I don’t think will be good. The main two actors are back from the first one which is probably the best in the film though the acting is fine anyway. So overall it might be worth a watch if you need to know a bit more of the story from the first but it is not a very good reason to have a second one. Compared to something like scream series which works fine.

Great fun, simple and a good sequel to the original. If you liked the original this one will be a great time
