The Addams Family

Went with my hetro life partner (alex diretor of Luce) and from the first moment I needed the toilet so I sat through 80 minutes tryna hold it in until It ended and i could go. Horrendously uncomfortable experiance and one that I wouldn't want to relive. Film itself isnt terrible though I dunno kids will prolly like it i dunno its only 80 minutes

I’m surprised this has received mixed reviews. It seems people were expecting it to be more like the 1990s live action films instead of the 1960s television series. But that’s actually what I loved about it. The references to the TV series - from the comedy themed story, to the little things like Morticia’s plant ‘Cleopatra’, the growling polar bear rug, Pugsley and his explosives, Wednesday and the octopus, animating the TV series’ opening theme cinematic, etc - just goes to show how much attention to detail the people behind the animation had. They really did their research, and it was nice to see the 1960s Addams Family characters get a modern spin to them. The inclusion of some of the other horror film references was also clever, in my opinion. I wish it could have been a little longer, but overall I really enjoyed it. People should give this film more credit. It might not follow the same dark humour as the live action films, but if you’re familiar with the original TV series I recommend you give this a watch. I know you’ll appreciate the callbacks and nostalgia.

Looks good, but the story was poor and didn’t engage anyone in the family.

At the end of the film their film their was a catchy song it is so good really, I really recommend to other people.

I went to the cinema with my friend and her mum to see this film I enjoyed it the whole way through. I didn’t find some of the jokes funny but some actually did get me laughing a bit. I also Liked the voice actor for MORTICIA it was a great voice to add To her as it fits well with her looks. Great movie apart from fester was a disappointment. I expected him to be creepy but he was silly and it irritated me. But anyway great film
