This was quite the watch! Amazing insight in to a profession that you’d not even think about day to day.. and the technology and complexities that make it so perilous. Without doubt one of the best things I watched in 2019.

A remarkable true life story of humanity at its best.Continuing I salute the bravery and honesty of the professional sailors and divers involved. The diver who trained Chris showed himself to be a true friend and human being.I appreciate the honesty of the Vulcan a professional who told it as it really was in total honesty a remarkable achievement by very brave men.

Cannot praise this enough. I approched this without knowing the story or the outcome and with no expectations except the positive reviews. Well worth the good words of others and it delivers in all areas.

This is a masterful and very faithful piece of storytelling of one man's close encounter with death, in one of the worlds most harshest and loneliest environments and the incredible efforts to save him. The production team have done a beautiful job of weaving together reconstructed scenes along with actual footage from the event, so seamlessly that I quickly forgot about even attempting to differentiate one from another and instead became totally enveloped by this awe inspiring true story. I had the privilege of seeing this film for the first time on the big screen and then meeting co-director Richard de Costa and diver Chris Lemons afterwards. Hearing first hand testimony from Chris on just how faithfully the events has been recreated in Last Breath made me love the film all the more. My 13 year old son came with me to the screening (a harsher critic you will not find!). The fact we were BOTH blown away by this film speaks volumes! Without any prompting from me in any way, during the end credits he turned to me and exclaimed (with a level of enthusiasm I rarely see!) "that was AMAZING!”. I don’t think I could sum up my own feelings much better than my son’s simple exclamation.. truly an amazing piece of cinematography!!

One of the most claustrophobic, sweaty palm-inducing films of recent years. A remarkable true tale.

Don’t be put off with this film being a documentary. The tension in the film was phenomenal, I was watching a true miracle happening. Spilled a few tears watching it although not a sad film. Enjoyed is so much I have had to buy it, truly amazing. Well worth the watch.

Totally gripping. The juxtaposition of real footage, reconstructions and interviews makes this compelling viewing.
