Free Solo

We watched this last night and I was clinging onto the sofa! I live for extreme sport but don't have a love for heights - this docu' had me breaking out in a sweat! I loved everything about this docu' - Alex's take on life is incredible and he surrounds himself with good people! His Lady is truly inspiring, educated and full of empathy and the two of them compliment reach other well. The whole docu' is so well put together, edited. Video is exceptional in 4K HDR as is audio quality. Your Apple TV 4K was made for this docu' - my advice, watch it in the dark on the largest OLED TV screen that you can find! OUTSTANDING!

Really enjoyed this, good to see into the mind of of someone considered to be the best in their field, what motivates them and how they react to situations, truly inspirational.

Just breathtaking. The film I’m telling everyone to watch this year. Alex is a remarkable human being who doesn’t see the world the way the rest of us do. I keep watching it because it’s so great.

This movie is an incredible documentary of a man who defies belief. There is a part of me that makes me very angry that he should put is life at risk but I also admire his love of achieving what everyone thought impossible. It is a movie filmed honestly with no sensationalism (apart from what Alex achieves) and you cannot have anything else but euphoria when he achieves his dream of climbing El Capitan free solo. For me it is one of the greatest human achievements ever. The movie will put you through many emotional issues and you may even feel exhausted when Alex reaches the top of El Cap. Truly remarkable!

Thought-provoking too: what is a good life? What price is worth paying for fulfilment?

I went in to this not expecting much.. but was blow away with how well it was put together and how enjoyable it was to watch, worth the money.. buy it

Defies belief incredible courage determination. But could he do it with one hand.That’s not really funny this man has incredible skill and determination it takes guts beyond belief and stamina to achieve what he has the impossible.He is already a star he deserves every ounce of his success I hope he cashes in his chips. He has proven himself he should move away now from this dangerous pursuit he has won don’t mess with death.Well done.

Must watch film. Couldn’t take my eyes off it.
