A Quiet Place

This is a good film but it’s a one time only watch. It’s better than Birdbox and feels like it’s bigger budget. I was certainly gripped but it’s one I could have watched on Netflix instead of buying.

I was a bit unsure about the concept at first, a movie where essentially the cast are very limited in their lines as noise brings about monsters. I gave it a go in preparation for the sequel this week and really enjoyed it. A very good cast, both the leads were sympathetic and very well performed. Certainly an interesting set up and lots of tension, the creatures were very good and it left me looking forward to see how the next film would continue the story.

Wow, this is such an amazing film!! It is suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat most of the time. The focus on characters really connected me to them, what they were feeling and the silence of the film just dragged to into it even more. Even if you’re not a horror fan, this film is not full of jump scares, it’s suspenseful and builds up tension as you go. If you get the chance to watch this in a cinema it is 10x better, or if not, definitely with headphones to get the full effect of silence and all the small sounds you would miss otherwise. I can’t recommend this film enough and can’t wait to see Part 2 again which is an amazing sequel!

Firstly this movie has very good acting, beautiful special effects and the story is super interesting. But i don’t think it was as scary and horrifying as it should of been.

You need to stay quiet to stay alive. I know! I’ll have a baby! Ridiculous. Also that stupid boy deserved to die for taking the batteries for that toy!!

It’s a great movie I definitely recommend it👍
