Happy Death Day

The movie trailer gives too much away. If you enjoyed films like The Butterfly Effect and Back To The Future, then you will enjoy this. I would not class this as a horror movie, it is more of a thriller. The story line is superb and the performance by Jessica Rothe is first class. I will be keeping a close eye on her acting career. Watch the movie without watching the trailer for maximum effect.

Anyway, this movie may deserve its 4 stars that I have it. It is funny, moves a bit slowly, but that is the fun of it. I like how they barely focused on the horror because when you make a PG-13 horror movie, if it gets on a high level of horror it would get boring. I am kind off disappointed in the fact that this got a PG-13 rating, but I do not really care. It is just the fact that it does not have any good gore.

Blumhouse films are usually just horror fads used to scare people, but with the right production skills they can pull off amazing stuff like this. Story was entertaining and had good logic, lead actress outstanding, well sequenced scenes.

Lots of twist and turns and scares and great acting this movie keeps gore at low this as a result is a brilliantly put together horror film for teens only because it is very violent and concept is disturbing.

Quite a good little horror movie this, took me by surprise, the leading actress was very convincing in her part, Groundhog Day at college, I kinda guessed who the murderer was, but the twist at the end completely caught me out, watch it and see if it does you as well, decent film well worth a watch 🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪💋

Great twist on Ground Hog Day 👍🏼

This movie is done well, it manages to scare at some points and become one of the best new different horror out there. The acting is good, and the continuous loop the film takes you on doesn’t bore! Overall: We believe this is a gripping film and is worth the watch, creates to twists and turns too! Rated:4.5, always room for improvement and you can definitely see why as there is a lot unanswered, loss of character development.
