Description

A group of college students venture into the Black Hills Forest in Maryland to uncover the mysteries surrounding the disappearance of James’ sister who many believe is connected to the legend of the Blair Witch. At first the group is hopeful, especially when a pair of locals offer to act as guides through the dark and winding woods, but as the endless night wears on, the group is visited by a menacing presence. Slowly, they begin to realize the legend is all too real and more sinister than they could have imagined.

    To wait near 16/17 years from the first movie to how they made this is just rubbish. This was a cheaply made poor acting film just so they could make a quick buck. Sorry to say this but all the money in films these days could have been better. Much much more better.

    It's really not that bad! It's basically a high budget version of the first film! It follows on quite well from the first. I'd rate it 3 stars but because people have been so brutal with the ratings I've given it a 5! If you don't like shaky cams or horror movies stay away... quite simple really.

    Have you seen the first Blair witch??no need to watch this then it's basically the same film only slightly more squealing and even more stupid. Women goes missing in woods presumed dead years ago brother decides to go look and drag all his friends along with him even tho there's ACTUAL video footage showing her dying!!!!!!!!REALY

    I feel like "Blair Witch" is what "The Blair Witch Project" would've been like if "The Blair Witch Project" were to be made in 2016. It's overdone. Too much this and too much that! Simplicity is key.

    This is categorically one of the worst films I have seen for a very long time! This is the first review I have ever written on iTunes and it has taken this pile of nonsense to shake me into action. If you want to watch 89 minutes of bad actors shouting the same 4 names repeatedly, in between screaming as loudly as they can whilst jiggling cameras around in a wood whilst it rains..........then this is the film for you! Otherwise, it really is utter tripe! The only enjoyment I managed to squeeze out of it was laughing, on reflection, at the synopsis which congratulated the film maker on moving the 'found footage' genre on by including the use of a drone........spoiler alert........the drone's star turn is getting stuck in a tree! Terrifyingly bad!

    The 2016 Blair Witch movie is as boring as hell! The concept for the story is good, but it's slow boring and I could not personally get into it. Around 30 mins into it and I really couldn't give a dam what happens to the in the woods, as long as it adds something interesting... It doesn't. Maybe give this a rental when it's 99p, and if you're bored.
