Description

    The real draw of the original point break was the "will he, wont he" plotline deciding if Keanus cop would "go maverick". This film rides right over that dilema cos it gets in the way of some "rad action scenes". Its dreadful, meandering, with no real likeable characters, and frankly the action scenes are no more than one could expect in a passable Bond film. First time Ive seen a trailbike jump a canyon and thought "oh, here we go again". This film is so bad it actually manages to get me to loathe any sort of ecowarrior, and the lasting impression I had was of the need to carve out my own eyes to remove the terrible damage they have seen.

    OK, the original Point Break was great and it still looks amazing today. Cool. But let's move on with an open mind to this new take. It's great! Super story, great acting, lovely locations - in fact, breath taking and some amazing extreme sports. Forget the original for two hours and simply enjoy this. Picture quality in 1080p is outstanding although, the audio sounds a little flat and compressed. I relayy enjoyed renting this film & I reckon that i'll buy it from iTuns to add to my collection. Watch with an open mind and ENJOY!!!

    I was in two minds whether to watch this as the original is one of my all time favorite films. But I was pleasantly surprised. Not a patch on the original but still a good film.

    Terrible. If you have any affection towards the original film - then leave this well alone. So poor it just hurts. If you are stoned and/or un-initiated in Patrick Swayze then it'll kill a couple of hours watching pretty vistas.

    silly to try link it to point break, might have suceeded as something new. amazing stunts and visuals, btt almost no dialogue or storyline lol should have been just a story about chasing the 8
