If your a Steve jobs fan, probably not the best film to watch. A two hour spotlight showing Steve jobs as the worst dad on the planet and a complete dick to everyone he meets with a little bit of the Apple shenanigans thrown in. Maybe accurate, but then only those who were there will ever really know. A lot of heavy hitters actor wise but the characters aren’t really explained like there’s an expectation you will already know who they are. The other film ‘Jobs’ is much better if you want the background of Apple (accuracy debatable) and will probably help you follow this film with better understanding. Watchable film, but the fact that it came out after is death when it can’t be contradicted may be telling.

This is relatively good movie... but, creating product is a long process, there is no time for it... no Jon Ive in movie. Jobs daughter is probably great person, but i dont know Steve Jobs name because he had daughter Lisa, I know Jobs name because Mac computers. next... Kate Winslet is great actress but in this movie she is a little bit boring, she had maybe two face expressions, it was poor. Movie is watchable, but i wanted something more. ps. good photographs

I don't understand what is entertaining about watching people argue for an entire movie.

I watch the other movie called Jobs and love it! so thought I would buy this to go along with it. It's all to do with his life story while being backstage, sorry no real story here nothing new and not enough story up to his death, film felt half finished even at 2 hrs.

Going in to this “movie” with an expectation of it being about a person in a way you think that person should be will totally ruin the whole “movie” and that will only leave yourself to blame. This “movie” is ART. A 3 act play on the screen based on (not exactly 100%) about a very interesting person who sadly passed away before his time. So i urge you to watch, without expectation and without pre-judgment of what you should expect…. and simply enjoy. Great acting and nice use of different formats for each of the 3 acts. 1st was shot in low-res type the 2nd was improved and then the 3rd was in full HD. It was a nice touch. None of us really knew steve Jobs and everyone remembers him differently even people who knew him. So just watch and enjoy :) Going in to it with any expectations will only ruin it before you hit play…. Just watch! :)
