Tractor Ted pays a visit to an arable farm in East Anglia where he sees some of the biggest farm machines in the country busy at work in the fields, including two giant combine harvesters. They harvest the wheat so fast that several tractors and trailers are needed to empty their grain tanks - and we even see them keep working right into the night, with the help of powerful lights front and back. There isn't enough room in the grain store for all the wheat to be kept safely under cover, so a new barn is being built, using more machines such as diggers, cement mixers and a huge articulated hauler. The children look at the grain silos and play a game, guessing which silo the next lorry is going to empty its grain into. There's plenty of music including a new "Let's go Cultivating" song, as Tractor Ted explains how a massive cultivator is used to get a field ready for next year's crop to be planted. As always, there's plenty of interaction in the video, with Tractor Ted popping up on screen to narrate over the real-life footage. He encourages counting, reading and singing along, so children pick up lots of great knowledge about the countryside and how farms work - no wonder they love to watch the films again and again!
