Whenever disaster strikes, International Rescue answers the call! From their hidden island base in the south Pacific, the five Tracy Brothers pilot remarkable, cutting-edge Thunderbird vehicles from the depths of the oceans to the highest reaches of space – all for one purpose: to help others in need. International Rescue’s identities may not be widely known, but their heroism is legendary. Even the devious schemes of mysterious international criminal ‘The Hood’ can’t weaken their resolve, or stop them from battling the dangers of the year 2060. Supported by mechanical genius Brains, stealthy operative Kayo, their jet-setting London agent Lady Penelope and her loyal driver Parker, Scott, Gordon, Virgil, John and Alan Tracy live for these three words: Thunderbirds Are Go!

Even though I’m a bit on the young side to remember the original tv show even though my dad was able to find the it on repeat on the tv when I was growing up. (never saw every episode, even to this day) Even though nothing beat the original (thats my opinion when it comes to tv/movies), every time I watch it I feel like I’m 6 years old watching it all over again. I can see why some of the older fans don’t want to watch it (my dad is one of them and he has not even tried to watch it) but with the animation and story lines that are similar to the original its really good.

Why have we on I tunes 2 version of thunderbirds 1 at £ 799 the other £1999 but both are same 13episodes

When poor old Gerry Anderson died back in 2012 I was heartbroken because he was an enormous part of my childhood and I knew Thunderbirds may never return but when I discovered it was to return I was extremely happy and it was now CGI which has well excellently and it sticks to the original plotline and actually even though I sadly miss him i'm glad Jeff Tracy is gone because it updates the storyline from the original. By the way I first discovered the old series 15 years ago. Although i still prefer the original Lady Penelope, Gordon Tracy, Virgil Tracy and Ray Barrett's Hood, I love the new versions cast and i'm very happy David Graham is back as my favourite Parker and I love the brand new Kayvan Novak Indian Brains. If he were still alive Gerry Anderson would have tears of joy that his most beloved creation is back. R.I.P Mr Anderson your shows will never die.😃😃😃😃😃

Confused. There are two Thunderbirds Are Go box sets on iTunes. Both are HD and have 13 episodes. So why is one £15 cheaper than the other? Great show though. My kids love it.

Wonderful. Stand out episodes so far - Skyhook and EOS but they are all really good. The imagery is frequently stunning; the mix of action, characters, model work and music/sound fx is great! The scripts and editing are brilliant- often enough for a movie all in just 23ish minutes. The quality of the ethos is also worth a mention- these are beautifully constructed, morally thoughtful and inspirational gems. I fell in love with Thunderbirds 50 years ago... I'm finding myself right back there again! The title sequence is superb, the fx really lift those vehicles and set your heart racing. Utterly FAB!

A total nod to its creator who entertained us as children and still after all these years it's quality in depth of character and technical issues made me smile with nostalgia bring on more!

Forget what’s changed, look at what’s stay the same! The craft are the same…but better. The rescues have the same dynamic. Tracy Island looks better than it did before. And the characters are punchy, and don’t wobble any more! This is only the pilot, so with luck the episodes will maintain the same (already high) standard or improve, and after 24 more stories we’ll like this even more than we already do…and we already do! There isn’t a better kids show out there right now. Why are you waiting? Thunderbirds Are Go!
