BSG: The Complete Collection

This collection Does contain all four seasons of the show. Some people cant seem to figure out that season 4 was split into two for DVD release. It contains every single episode of the main series. The only let down is it doesnt include the three TV movies but these are available to purchase seperately. But woukd skip The webseries they edited into a movie as it doesnt add to series The show was good although it did drag on a bit after its third season and you can skip alot of episodes that dont really add to main plot of show.

It’s labelled as the complete collection but it’s not! It was over five seasons on DVD and the Plan is missing. Hen they say complete they should mean complete.

Missing razor and the plan and price back to £40 not a deal!!!! Why is mini series in stereo only where as episodes have surround?

I got up to season 2 on iTunes before seeing this one deal so decided to purchase thinking it would ‘top up’ my library Now it’s created a separate series lumping them all together so I have season 1 and 2 followed by the complete collection also with 1 and 2. It’s a mess to navigate now and had I known I would have paid the extra for each series separately...

Half way through second season and if you like sci-fi you’ll love this. I just wish they would stop saying “Frack” or “Fracking” ever 2 mins.

I’d been leery fo buying this as I didn’t like the original, and had a hunch the new version was dodgy. Sadly, I gave in to the rave reviews and bought the entire series. Sucka! Poor acting, plot, character development and mis-en-scene. It’s like watching there antics of a hairdressing salon in outer space. Don’t waste your time or your credits.

Whilst it’s true that this package doesn’t include the “entire” Battlestar Galactica universe in its modern retelling guise, it includes the main cannon, if you like: yes Razor is missing, but that is essentially a side story to the main plot, and can be purchased separately of course. This package includes the story of the main cast. And for that, it is excellent value. The price seems to fluctuate but I was very happy with what I paid for it (£24.99 in HD, or in perspective, the same price as a solitary season of some other shows). BSG is an epic story and uses the backdrop of science fiction purely to aid it in delivering on some wonderful character arcs and development throughout the entirety of the show. Yes, as with most things, it’s the early stuff that is the best (for me, at least), but it must be seen through to the end! Anybody who likes sci fi should get this, and even if you don’t consider yourself a sci fi fan, check it out as well. One of the great things about the Battlestar Galactica - the ship that is, not the show - is that it’s not all high tech bells and whistles, it’s grit and heart. The pilots may as well be flying spitfires rather than vipers - the dog fights are just that, albeit set in space! So check it out if you haven’t already, you won’t regret it :)

Simply put this is the best programme ever made. The box set is great value, I would give it 6 stars if I could.
