Description

"Dominion" is an epic supernatural drama set in the year 25 A.E. In this transformed post–apocalyptic future an army of lower angels, assembled by the archangel Gabriel, has waged a war of possession against mankind. The archangel Michael, turning against his own kind, has chosen to side with humanity against Gabriel. Rising out of the ashes of the 25 year-long battle are newly fortified cities which protect the human survivors. In Vega (formerly Las Vegas), the largest of these cities, two houses vie for control and the stage is set for political upheaval and a dangerous power shift. Meanwhile, a rebellious young soldier begins a perilous journey as the war between the human race and the fallen angels hell-bent on their domination escalates.

  • SyFy, really!

What you have here is the exact same as it was aired on TV, with the same pop-ups when its interrupted for commercials, which is 5 times per episode, and it also interrupts 5 times per eipisde telling you that its for "Mature audience viewing only". This is what you call a lazy, conversion for purchase. This is the second series from SyFy with this lazy work. I'll not be buying anything else form SyFy. Edit: it's good to annoying for watching, so I cancel the series and go to refunds. If you paying for something it should be continuously experience, not interrupted five times.

I won't be purchasing season two of this axed series unless it is seriously discounted. Might have been an epic series but it's missing something. The acting is unvonvicing - even annoying at times - and the something about the whole look and feel of the sets and wardrobe seems cheap 'n' nasty. I hope to see a sequel to the original Legion film to make up for this disappointing series. :)

I know, I know. Angels at war. Humans in the middle. Familiar territory. Some of the actors a bit wooden (sorry Gabriel). But direction and look were fabulous, as was the story. Alan Dale and Antony Head brilliant in their roles as villains. Just note DHybrid’s comments on episode order, or you will spoil the story. Money well spent.

Nothing to rave about but entertaining. iTunes however has the episodes in the wrong order, watch episode 9 before episode 8... Come on iTunes!
  • "The chosen one" Nahhhhh! hackneyed nonsence.

A good cast and they spent some money on sets and effects for the pilot, but premise is a bit silly and contrived and any plot that contains " the chosen one" has failed already for me. not very good, might be worth another episode to see if the writers can dig it out of a hole. but I doubt it.
