    Always a joy..a lesson in less is more..at 8 episodes a season, it is easier to stay fresh! Only slight criticism is that the plot with Edith is becoming a bit too tragic..when on earth is the storm over?!

    This season is proving to be just as good as the previous: The Dowager is still funny, Cora still can’t act, Robert still hates change, and Mary is still contrary. One does have to point out though that with the advent of shows like House of Cards having to wait 1 week between each episode is a little tedious. Nonetheless the episodes have been appearing promptly around midnight after broadcast on ITV 1. The series pass WILL NOT include the Christmas Special. I think that Carnival have made a mistake in not clarifying the position here. It is extremely unlikely that this ’Series Pass’ will include the Christmas episode, I cite other series of Downton on iTunes and the fact that special episodes aren’t considered part of the series (see Dr. Who as another example) so please don’t bother complaining when it happens!
