Law & Order: Special Victims Unit returns for Season Two. For the second season, a new character, Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cabot, is added to the series and is played by Stephanie March (Death of a Salesman). Noted musician/actor Ice-T joins the team as well as street smart Detective Odafin Tutuola, who is partnered with Detective John Munch (Richard Belzer). Also returning as the series’ passionate detectives in the city’s elite sex crimes unit are Christopher Meloni (as Detective Elliot Stabler) and Mariska Hargitay (as Detective Olivia Benson) and Dann Florek as Capt. Donald Cragen.
