Just want to point out that this series has something to offer for everybody - even (or especially) if you're not a complete film geek. The approach it's being presented in is refreshing. Definitely a must-see for audiences of all generations.

Ignore the idiot giving this series 1 star because it's not in HD. How is it not being in HD make the show any less important? There is not Blu-Ray either, so maybe the show doesn't exist in a HD format. But so what, if you love film and it's history this is a great series, everything you ever wanted to know about the art of film making, from the very first time a cut was used, to modern special effects.
