Description

With his career on the slide, a massive tax bill caused by his useless accountant, and a wife who's divorcing him, Warwick Davis has no choice but to open his doors to a film crew 24/7. Maybe living his life like an open wound will get him back on top? In this first episode, Warwick seeks advice from old pals Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, but Liam Neeson has beaten him to it. The film crew charts Warwick's every move as he tries to maintain his pride and self respect in some very unusual situations.

  • Brilliant, don't view it as Brent

When I first watched it I thought it was a lazy money making cash cow piggybacking on David Brent's character but, and their are similarities all too easy to spot, it works with Warwick on a different level when the Brent'isms don't trip him up, an excellent comedy and iTunes really needs to get the special on aswell because it cannot be found anywhere and it was great too. Best character is his accountant but I'd love to see another series but sadly it's finished for good after 1.
  • SD is the cheaper option

To the reviewer who says buying each episode individually is cheaper. No it isn't. The £17.43 is for the HD version. The SD version total is about £13. Don't honestly see the point in getting stuff like this in HD
  • Like gervais but taller!

Too much of gervais and merchant in this, expressing their vast quantities of acquired arrogance. Just a mixture of extras and the office same jokes and dialogue in places, same style. Warwick is good though. But he's playing the character of gervais. How much more of this copycat material can they churn out?

Instead of buying the season for £17.43 just buy each episode individually for £13.23 thus saving yourself £4.20

when someone doesn't take themselves too seriously, you know they are going to make you laugh. Warwick is a legend. His facial expressions are sheer class!
  • So so funny.

I loved this series when it first came out and watching it again just creases me up. Episode 2 is worth the price on its own. A lot of people have said it is too similar to the Office but I couldn't get enough of that style of comedy and Warwick is simply superb.
