Description

Transporting you to locations across the globe and back in time through tens of millions of years, Planet Dinosaur uses unique hi-tech graphics to bring to life the most awesome and amazing creatures that ever lived. Almost all the dinosaurs featured were discovered in the last 10 years or so and forced a rewriting of the prehistory books. Palaeontologists now know that dinosaurs spread to every part of the globe, and evolved in ways so monstrous, horrific and bizarre they make T Rex look very tame indeed. Planet Dinosaur is a completely immersive visual experience studded with curious facts and jaw-dropping action as well as charismatic monsters. Presenting a brand-new global perspective on the prehistoric era, the series re-creates the creatures, their habitats and how they lived, from analysing their bones to watching them fight to the death.

I agree that the show tells you a lot about dinosaurs but the special effects arnt that good, there's very little muscle movement and the dinosaurs don't interact with the environment very well (this stuff maters to me as I need good special effects to watch a show) I prefer walking with dinosaurs as the dinosaurs look more realistic and they used animatronics. My opinion but I would recommend you buy it if you love dinosaurs

The graphics are fantastic, the information is completely accurate from what I know, Hatsygopterics ( I think that is how you spell it ) is my fav dinosaur and John Hurt really captures the moment with his fantastic voice over. Well done to the people who made this. One criticism though... Why have you not dome a series about life before the dinosaurs and a series about life after the dinosaurs! Good job guys and I hope you continue with your work and make those two other series!

It really captured my imagination specially with the animation and the voice other really takes you there to when the dinosaurs ruled the earth over 60 million years ago. It is very educational and is very well put together for the whole family to enjoy and to understand more about dinosaurs. So I would recommend this to any one what ever age you are and what ever you think know about dinosaurs because you will be blown away from how good this documentary is.

I am very disappointed on behalf of my 4 year old son with this download as it fails to play in iTunes (v10.5.2) and will not sync/play with my 1st Gen Apple TV. My son was so looking forward to watching this series and I just can't get it to play. Money back please!!

The best of its type by far. John Hurt's voice really captures you and the CGI keeps you. Not to mention how much intrest and knowledge is provided.

This is a brilliant series, with mesmerising graphics and even though I am not particularly interested in dinosaurs specifically this series has captured my imagination, sometimes a bit gory for me though. Buy this if you are interested in life on earth.

This show is the best since walking with dinosaurs and having grown up with that show it's like the information has matured keeping me and older people watching whilst still producing brilliant special effects any film would be proud of! Buy this if you like dinosaurs end of.
