This puts physics in a nice presentation that will make it easy to understand for everyone. This is by far one of the best television shows that I have seen which clearly defines current ideas and theories to the everyday human being. Very engaging graphics. Well worth watching.

I found SH books extremely boring and complex but these programs explain his theories and concepts perfectly. A must watch!

Words cannot describe how I felt after watching these... To be honest I don't even know why I bought them, I guess I have a little interest on the subjects but probably not enough to buy and watch... however... I am so happy I did! Stephen puts things into words everyone can understand, it is pretty phenomenal how the universe was created and when you put it into prospective, life (matter) is here all because of a mistake, I learned many things from this awesome series but one thing that will always be with me is a simple little fact... We are here because of imperfection, perfection is impossible, and does not exist in our galaxy. Did you know, the laws of physics prevents anything or anyone exceeding the speed of light, it's impossible... Only 99.99% has been achieved! Epic information, buy buy buy!
  • A family show

I should really have paid more heed to the other reviews; if you already have an interest in cosmology and physics, this is probably not the show for you. The concepts within the programme are pretty basic and the explanations simplified to the point of becoming almost meaningless. But I still gave it 4 stars - why? Well there is some beauty in the simplicity and anyone with little prior knowledge could access and understand the contents seen here - the graphics are great and my wife and kids probably enjoyed it much more than I did. Basically this is a family friendly introduction to astrophysics and that, surely, is no bad thing.
