If you know the book inside and out (or probably if you don’t too), it’s a new take on a familiar, much beloved story!

Seriously anyone who fancies Tom Mison as Crane in Sleepy Hollow tv series who plays Bingley here would have paid the itunes price twice over to have seen him in the lake!!!

This is a clever and refreshingly different twist on a timeless novel. All of the actors are superb, great price too!

OMG the best thing on tv since ....... well ok then, ever! Totally amazing, every emotion is felt while watching this, laughing, crying and the end, well you just have to watch it. Loved Elliot Cowan as Darcy, and Jemima Rooper was fab as were all the cast. Have seen it soooo many times think I know the whole script now. Worth every penny this one, can't praise it enough.

I just luv this version of the classic Jane Austen. Just makes you wonder what would happen and how would we act if we find ourselfs going back in time!!!! Just luv this, makes me smile every time i watch it.

What a wonderful series, you can just sink into, and drift off to a fantasy world. Brilliantly based on the original novel, without destroying the great work of jane austen. This is hilariously funny, but heartbreaking at the same time, if you haven't seen it, you don't know what your missing, it really is fantastic

Lost in Austen is a comedy series about a young modern day woman (Amanda - played by Jemima Rooper) who finds herself entering a time portal and entering the world of Elizabeth Bennet while Elizabeth Bennet takes Amanda's place in modern day society. Amanda enters Elizabeth's world right at the beginning of the Pride and Prejudice story and immedietly interferes unwittingly with the storyline. Confusion reigns - Mr Darcy falls in love with Amanda instead of Elizabeth Bennett. Amanda asks Mr Darcy to swim in the lake (well you would, wouldn't you) and enjoys a "strange post modern moment" admiring him in his wet shirt standing waist deep in the lake. Elliott Cowan makes a fantastic Mr Darcy and a credible challenge to (I never thought I'd say this) Colin Firth. I have this on hard copy but given the excellent price here may also add it to my i-Tunes collection. Well worth watching and well worth the money.
