Description

Meet Jill, the unhinged owner of a small town beauty salon, and enter her dysfunctional world. Pretending that her hospitalised husband is dying, Jill is on a mission to find a man. She joins the "Lassoo the Moon" Dating Agency, but when her dates don't come up to scratch, she sets her sights on her neighbour Don, a doctor, and develops a very unhealthy obsession about him. Moving in to 'nurse' his terminally ill wife, she is determined to seduce him and bring their marriage to a grinding halt . . . by ANY means necessary. So will she get her man in the end?

    I liked Julia Davies when she worked in the Chris Morris comedies, thought she was fantastic in the little heard of 'Human Remains', and find her equally as fantastic in Nighty Night. The only thing I can't figure out is why this programme hasn't been as hyped as many other great comedies inc. Coogan's and the League of Gentlemen's works which I would compare with Nighty Night. They're all certainly a lot better than the massively over-hyped 'Little Britain' and 'Shameless'.

    Julia Davis is a genius. This could be the funniest show ever written by and starred in by a woman. Angus Deayton and Rebecca Front are also superb. Love it.

    No doubt about it, the best comedy ever. So dark and so wrong that you can't help but to cry from laughter. Seen each episode at least 20 times and each time I spot something else hilarious. If you don't like this; you have a lame sense of humour.

    What an absolutely hilarious series. I have been watching these whilst at the gym and I have been getting the weirdest looks as I laugh out loud. A must buy for anyone who likes dark comedy.

    What a great find! You will laugh out loud at this - every episode is cringeworthingly brilliant. One of those programmes you shouldn't laugh at, but absolutely can't help. 'Hiya Cath!!!' Julia Davis really put herself on the comedy map with this (after brilliant cameos to date...remember 'People Like Us'?) and the rest of the cast are great too. Download this now, you'll know it word for word soon... Then get onto Gavin and Stacey, where Jill and Linda are reunited once again!
